Chopard

Swiss watch company founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonviller. It makes pocket watches of fine quality sold in Eastern Europe, in Scandinavia and in Russia. In 1920, his grandson Paul André transfers the premises of the company in Geneva and, in 1963, he sells it to the Scheufele family, established since three generations already as goldsmiths-watchmakers in the region of Pforzheim, in Germany.

The brand has also production units in Meyrin and Fleurier, in Switzerland.

Lines of jewels are created in harmony with the watches, forming thus an ornament. Chopard has become a full time jeweler, by proposing rings, precious stones mounted in solitaire.  Glasses, scarves, perfumes are today part of the new ranges of luxury products. Chopard is established in more than fifty countries, with eight branches and twenty-five boutiques in the world.
